To ensure a seamless experience, we have created a detailed Return and Refund Policy that balances fairness for customers and the integrity of our products.
Eligibility for Returns
- Defective or Damaged Products:
- Returns or exchanges for defective or damaged products, including customized items, are available within 3 days of delivery.

- Non-Defective Returns:
- If the product is not to your liking (e.g., not your type or style), you may return it within 3 days of delivery.
- The product must be unused, in its original condition, and include all tags, packaging, and accessories.
- Products showing signs of use, wear, or alteration will not be eligible for return.
- Non-Returnable Items:
- Personalized or customized products can only be returned if they are defective or damaged.
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Proof of Purchase: Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation, receipt, or invoice) is required for all returns.
Return Process
- Initiating a Return: Contact us within 3 days of delivery via WhatsApp or email. Provide your order number, reason for return, and supporting evidence (photos/videos for defective items).
- Approval: Once approved, we will provide you with further instructions, including the return shipping address.
- For defective items, a prepaid return shipping label will be provided (domestic and international).
- For non-defective items, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties or taxes (for international orders).
- Shipping the Item: Ensure the product is securely packed to avoid damage during transit. Reuse the original packaging whenever possible.
Exchange Policy
- Free Exchange Within India: Free exchanges are available for all eligible products within India. Exchanges must be requested within 3 days of delivery and are subject to stock availability.
- International Exchanges:
- For defective products, exchanges are free, including shipping costs.
- For non-defective exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes.
- Non-Exchangeable Items: Customized or personalized items can only be exchanged if they are defective or damaged.
Refund Process and Timeline
- Inspection: Once the returned item is received, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria. This inspection typically takes 3-5 business days.
- Refund Initiation: After inspection, refunds will be initiated through the original payment method. Customers will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed.
- Payment Gateway Processing: Refunds are processed by our payment gateway, and the time it takes to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
- Overall Timeline: Refunds are typically completed within 7-15 business days from the date we receive the returned product.
- Non-Refundable Costs: Shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes (if applicable) are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective or damaged product.
Cancellations
- Before Shipping: Orders can be canceled anytime before they are shipped for a full refund. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email.
- After Shipping: If the order has already shipped, the standard return process will apply.
Important Notes
- Inspection Upon Delivery: Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, notify us within 3 days.
- Handling Personalized Items: Personalized or customized items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless they are defective or damaged.
- Warranty for Manufacturing Defects: A 3-day warranty is offered for manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or normal wear and tear.
- Preventing Misuse: To protect against misuse (e.g., event-based returns or damage caused by the customer), we only accept returns for unused items in their original condition. Any items showing signs of wear or use will not be accepted.
- Data Privacy: Personal data collected during the return/exchange process will be handled securely and used solely for processing your request.
- Force Majeure: Different Craft India is not responsible for delays or issues caused by uncontrollable events, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or shipping disruptions.
International Orders
- Defective Products: Returns or exchanges for defective or damaged products are free of charge, including return shipping, for international customers.
- Non-Defective Products: International customers are responsible for all shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes for returns or exchanges of non-defective products.
- Refund Exclusions: Refunds for international returns exclude customs duties, taxes, and original shipping fees.
